How To Download Images Into Your PSP And View Them In the Device

In this article I will be touching on how you can use your PSP to download images and view them in your handheld device.

To view your images in the PSP device your images will have to be in the JPEG graphic format.

If your images are not already in the JPEG format, you will have to convert them using graphic conversion utilities to perform the task. There are many good graphics conversion software and one such tools is irfanview that is small and allow one to convert between many files format and various image editing features that are usually sufficient for basic usage.

You may want to do some size reduction to the images to conserve some space in your PSP memory stick. During the reduction, try to maintain the aspect ration of the image and do not overly reduce the image size as this will result in image stretching.

When your your desired JPEG images are copied and ready in a folder, you can copy directly into your memory stick under the PSP photo folder via your computer card reader. If you are using a USB cable simply go into the My Computer of your computer, look for the detected PSP device and copy your images into the photo folder. After the files are copied to your memory device either plug the device back to your PSP or disconnect your USB cable from your computer USB connector.

Now, you are ready to view your favourite images. To view the image you can use the "L" and "R" button to pan the images, check that your view settings is set at 100%.
